MY BACKGROUND
With a passion for writing, business, social media, and all things marketing, I come from the most beautiful place in the U.S.: Mt Pleasant, SC (a suburb of Charleston). I credit all that I am today as a person and a professional to the village that raised THIS child. Along with my parents and grandparents, people from the nearby townships such as McClellandville, Santee, Tibwin, Buck Hall, Pineland and Awendaw who had such a profound impact in shaping my work ethics and values. But more importantly, my faith. These amazing folks gave me a solid foundation that enabled me to construct the man I am today. In return, it is my desire to simply make them proud. By being successful in life, I honor them. I am also a disabled U.S. Air Force veteran who served in the Gulf War and on missions Operation Just Cause (Panama/Noriega), Rwanda and the Bosnian Refugee Airlift. After serving in the USAF for 14 years, I embarked on my journey as an entrepreneur and I never looked back. I spent time in talk radio and wrote political satire for 3 online publications. In 2011 I published my first book titled PUSHED which was distributed independently. We sold 37,000 units. To date, I have sold 4 screenplays and 3 television shows in the past 13 years. More to come that we cannot discuss at this time! However, a dramatic new series I created, wrote, directed and produced titled SOHO will be coming soon!
Having assembled a great team around me, I went back to my roots and I launched Empire Interantional Brokers commercial real estate company headquartered on Wall Street with now a second location in Winter Garden FL. We currently have $3.4 billion dollars of real estate assets in inventory ranging from land development projects nationwide, hotels in FL, NYC, Dubai, London, and Germany, apartment complexes and single family homes portfolios. We are also a venture capitalist firm working with many of our investors and partners here at Wall Street and Dubai to provide first and second round funding for small businesses and startups.
